Xlibris Releases YOU Can Build Characters Too!

Bloomington, IN (Vocus) October 12, 2010

Artistic director J. Pringle graces the publishing world with his prowess as Xlibris releases YOU Can Build Characters Too!, his newly released book. Here, he shares a detailed yet easy-to-understand guide for professional and aspiring actors.

Beginning by teaching the actor two simple systems of Character Construction, YOU Can Build Characters Too! is an acting textbook that shows the actor and acting student how to analyze and construct a character in fundamental, systematic, and step-by-step formats. Through vivid discussions, it helps the actor master the four tools of tone so that he or she can build the characters voice and even identify quickly the vocal patterns of people observed in the streets. After showing the actor how to construct the characters voice and body, this book then shows him or her how to analyze the character in order to identify the characters vision of the world and the people in it and how the character responds to the world and its people.

The best part of Acting, though, is building believable and thoughtfully prepared characters. As I write this book, what rewards me most is proving to you that you can do this, shares the author.

YOU Can Build Characters Too! touches mainly on the essentials of acting. From voice precision to character internalization, this book is tailored to be the perfect guide for mentors, students, and each performer in the colorful world of acting.
